Overview

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with department needs and customer inquiries
  • Package and prepare bakery products for distribution
  • Slice products and package finished bakery items
  • Label and distribute finished products accurately
  • Follow safe food handling and preparation processes
  • Ensure proper product quality and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness in the Packaging/Distribution Department
  • Comply with safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations
  • Support compliance with SQF standards and quality management systems
  • Assist in cleaning equipment and maintaining department conditions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Knowledge of Packaging/Distribution processes
  • Understanding of food safety regulations
  • Ability to operate packaging equipment
  • Experience in bakery operations preferred
