This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing quality work.ResponsibilitiesPrepare metal components for brazing operationsBraze copper piping and metal componentsInspect finished joints for quality and accuracyRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawingsPerform leak checks, pressure testing, and system evacuationsFollow safety and quality standardsQualificationsExperience with brazing, welding, soldering, or metal fabrication preferredAbility to read blueprints and technical documentsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to lift 50-75 lbs as neededExperience with hand and power toolsUnderstanding of safety procedures related to heat and metalworkEntry-Level Candidates Encouraged to ApplyRecently completed a welding, HVAC, pipefitting, fabrication, or related trade program? We'd love to speak with you. Candidates who have completed technical training and are looking to start their career will be considered, even if they do not have professional brazing experience.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in an indoor manufacturing facility. The environment can be warm due to the brazing process. Employees work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, giving you a three-day weekend every week.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $45.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
