Job Description

Overview

Job responsibilities and duties include: Act as a bridge between Marketing and Product, aligning both departments to the brand's design vision and goals. Develop and maintain the Ria brand's visual elements. This includes creating and upholding brand guidelines, design systems, and ensuring visual consistency across all brand interactions. Work closely with Marketing, Product and cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback to refine and align designs with the brand's strategic goals. Oversee both internal and external brand design resources, including freelancers, contractors, design agencies, or boutiques. Emphasize a user-centric approach by conducting tests and experiments with design elements, and share the insights gained internally to continuously refine the brand's visual language. Facilitate creative workshops and ideation sessions with their team and collaborators to drive research, experimentation, and continuous learning. This position has 4 reports including: 2 Graphic Designers and 2 Brand Designers Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or any related field plus of 2 years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: Brand design or visual design (2 years) Demonstrated experience developing brand and marketing materials using 1 of the following tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or Figma (2 years) Demonstrated experience creating cohesive brand systems, including logo design, typography, color palettes, and guidelines applied across digital and print formats (2 years) Demonstrated ability to produce and manage design projects across various media, including web, social media, presentations, and print materials. No travel required. Work from home (WFH) benefit available; must be in the office at least 3 days per week.
