Overview

Amegy Bank is seeking a high-performing Branch Relationship Banker (Personal Banker) for their Holcombe-Greenbriar branch in Houston, TX. This role focuses on engaging with clients to identify financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions, ensuring strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct financial needs assessments and recommend tailored banking products and solutions
  • Build and manage client relationships through outbound outreach, sales calls, and in-branch engagement
  • Promote and cross-sell bank products and services, identifying referral opportunities
  • Open and service accounts, issue ATM cards, and process consumer loans
  • Deliver sales-focused banking solutions that enhance branch performance
  • Identify business opportunities to support revenue growth while managing risk
  • Resolve client concerns through direct resolution or appropriate escalation
  • Process Teller transactions accurately and handle day-to-day branch service responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
  • Collaborate with branch leadership to track performance goals

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of banking experience
  • Proven relationship-driven sales experience with the ability to meet targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of consumer lending processes
  • Understanding of banking products, including deposits, loans, and credit cards
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in Teller operations and new account servicing preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in basic math and computer applications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration
