The Branch Operations Specialist at Civista Bank is responsible for ensuring compliance with branch operations guidelines while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role involves overseeing daily operational tasks, managing audits, and fostering customer relationships through knowledge of banking products and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure operational tasks are completed by all branch employees daily.
  • Manage the retention of operational materials and audits for soundness.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by processing transactions and building relationships.
  • Develop knowledge of products and services to address customer needs.
  • Execute customer requests with speed and accuracy.
  • Understand and manage all aspects of consumer lending.
  • Maintain constant communication internally and externally.
  • Adhere to regulations and policies for customer and bank safety.
  • Commit to personal growth through active learning and skill refinement.
  • Teach customers to use banking technology, including online and mobile banking.

Required skills

  • 2-3 years' experience in branch banking environment
  • Knowledge of operations, customer service, new accounts, and lending
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work under deadlines
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
