A Branch Operations Specialist (BOS) at Civista Bank is responsible for ensuring that all employees adhere to branch operations guidelines and that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. The role focuses on creating an exceptional customer experience while managing operational tasks and compliance with policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure operational tasks are completed daily by all branch employees.
  • Manage retention of operational materials and audits for operational soundness.
  • Process transactions and build relationships to create an exceptional customer experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of products and services to fulfill customer needs.
  • Maintain consistent communication to provide outstanding customer experience.
  • Adhere to regulations and policies to ensure safety and soundness for customers and the bank.
  • Encourage the use of technology in banking interactions.

Required skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in branch banking environment
  • Knowledge of operations, customer service, new accounts, and lending
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work under deadlines
  • Associate's Degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required
