Overview

Dreisilker Electric Motors is looking for a dynamic Counter Sales Person to join its team in Chicago. The role involves providing expert advice and support on electric motors and related products while fostering strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Stock shelves, counters, or displays with merchandise
  • Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales
  • Answer customer questions regarding location, price, and use of merchandise
  • Perform minor repairs on motors as needed
  • Accept payment and make change for multiple customers
  • Clean location, shelves, counters, and tables
  • Calculate sales discounts and manage cash register
  • Document, count, and cycle inventory daily
  • Troubleshoot and replace motors accurately
  • Prepare inventory of stock and order merchandise
  • May work on Saturday half-days and be on-call for emergency openings
