Innovance is seeking a Brake Press Operator to set up and operate a press for manufacturing operations within their family of employee-owned companies. The role focuses on performing precise sheet metal operations while maintaining quality standards and ensuring equipment functionality.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate a press to perform accurate work
  • Perform minor repairs of dies and assess maintenance needs
  • Conduct sheet metal operations to fabricate units or products
  • Operate all types of sheet metal machines for cutting, bending, or forming parts
  • Utilize sheet metal hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Plan and lay out sheet metal operations involving complex designs

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication
