The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking experienced Border Patrol Agents (BPA) in Denver, Colorado. Candidates with prior law enforcement experience may qualify for higher-graded positions within the agency, which is dedicated to securing borders and protecting the nation. Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Prevent and apprehend illegal aliens and smugglers at or near the borders.
  • Maintain surveillance using various equipment, including infrared scopes during night operations.
  • Perform checks and patrols in various locations using government assets like vehicles and ATVs.
  • Prepare investigative reports and gather evidence for prosecution.

Required skills

  • Law enforcement experience or military law enforcement experience.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms.
  • Ability to perform physical searches and investigations.
  • Familiarity with surveillance and detection technologies.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
