Overview

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking experienced Border Patrol Agents (GL-9/GS-11) to help secure the nation's borders and protect communities. This full-time position leverages prior law enforcement experience, with opportunities for career advancement and incentives for relocation.

Key responsibilities

  • Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations.
  • Preventing and apprehending smugglers and illegal entrants at or near the borders.
  • Conducting surveillance operations and using various government assets for patrol.
  • Performing physical searches of individuals and their vehicles.
  • Leading investigations into illegal operations and criminal activities.

Required skills

  • Experience in law enforcement, military, or related fields.
