The Border Patrol Agent (BPA) - Experienced position involves safeguarding the nation’s borders and ensuring compliance with immigration and customs laws. Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers near the borders.
  • Conduct surveillance and patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways.
  • Perform physical searches of detained individuals and vehicles.
  • Prepare investigative reports and gather evidence for criminal cases.

Required skills

  • Experience in law enforcement or military law enforcement.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms.
  • Ability to analyze information and make prompt decisions.
  • Experience in conducting investigations and using surveillance technologies.
  • Knowledge of immigration and customs laws.
