The Border Patrol Agent (BPA) - Experienced role at U.S. Customs and Border Protection offers individuals with prior law enforcement experience an opportunity to serve in full-time, career positions enhancing national security. Key responsibilities

  • Maintain surveillance to prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers.
  • Patrol the international boundary using various government assets.
  • Conduct inspections of documents and possessions for citizenship verification.
  • Perform physical searches for weapons, contraband, and evidence.
  • Utilize intelligence information to track illegal operations and criminal activities.
