Overview

The Border Patrol Agent (BPA) - Experienced position with U.S. Customs and Border Protection is a full-time role focused on securing the nation's borders and protecting communities. Candidates with prior law enforcement experience may qualify for higher-graded opportunities within a mission-driven and supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers at or near borders.
  • Maintain surveillance using various methods, including infrared scopes.
  • Perform searches for contraband, currency, and evidence.
  • Conduct patrols using government assets like vehicles, horses, and ATVs.
