The Border Patrol Agent (BPA) role at U.S. Customs and Border Protection involves protecting the nation's borders and ensuring public safety through law enforcement. Key responsibilities

  • Conduct various checks, including farm, building, traffic, and city patrols.
  • Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using government assets.

Required skills

  • Experience as a law enforcement officer or military police.
  • Proficient use of firearms.
  • Ability to perform physical searches and gather evidence.
  • Capacity for analyzing information and making prompt decisions.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (training provided).
