Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents in Missoula, Montana. This full-time federal law enforcement position focuses on protecting the nation's borders and addressing illegal activities, making a significant impact on public safety and national security. Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders

  • Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using various government assets

Required skills

  • Experience in public safety, security, military police, or law enforcement

  • Ability to analyze information and make prompt decisions
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required
