The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents to join its team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to build a career in federal law enforcement, contributing to the safety and security of the country by protecting its borders and enforcing immigration laws. Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders.
  • Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Conduct patrols using various government assets such as vehicles, horses, and watercraft.
  • Perform checks of farms, buildings, traffic, and transportation to ensure compliance with laws.
