Overview

U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking enthusiastic individuals for entry-level Border Patrol Agent positions, focusing on federal law enforcement careers that contribute to national security. The role involves protecting the borders, deterring illegal activities, and enhancing economic prosperity while being part of an elite team in law enforcement.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers
  • Maintain surveillance and conduct checks in various settings
  • Patrol international boundaries and waterways using government assets
  • Follow tracks and physical evidence related to illegal entries

Required skills
