Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents in Montana City, Montana. This role offers a significant opportunity for individuals wanting a federal law enforcement career dedicated to protecting the nation's borders and enhancing public safety. Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents can expect competitive pay, training, and potential relocation incentives.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.
  • Conduct surveillance from covert positions, including night operations.
  • Interpret tracks and other physical evidence of illegal entry.
  • Perform checks on farms, buildings, and vehicles.
  • Patrol international boundaries using various government assets.

Required skills

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, public safety, security, or military police.
  • Decision-making abilities in high-stress situations.
