Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents in Great Falls, Montana, offering a long-term career in federal law enforcement aimed at safeguarding American borders and citizens. This role provides training with elite professionals, competitive base pay, exceptional benefits, and up to $60,000 in additional incentives for new hires.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented individuals and smugglers at or near borders.
  • Maintain surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes.
  • Perform various checks including farm, building, traffic, and city patrols.
  • Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using government assets.

Required skills
