Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) for federal law enforcement positions in Denver, Colorado. This full-time role involves protecting the nation's borders, deterring illegal activity, and enhancing economic prosperity while being part of a team dedicated to public safety and security.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders.
  • Maintain surveillance using various methods, including infrared scopes during nighttime operations.
  • Conduct patrols using government assets, including vehicles, horses, vessels, and ATVs.
