Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol is hiring entry-level Border Patrol Agents in Salt Lake City, Utah. This federal law enforcement position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on national security while working with a dedicated team. Candidates will receive extensive training and may qualify for substantial recruitment and retention incentives.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration and customs law violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.
  • Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using various government assets.
  • Perform inspections and checks related to immigration enforcement.
  • Maintain surveillance and interpret physical evidence related to illegal entries.
