Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) for full-time federal law enforcement positions in Great Falls, Montana. This role involves protecting the nation's borders, deterring illegal activities, and participating in various law enforcement duties, offering a significant opportunity for career development and paid training.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration and customs law violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at borders.
  • Conduct surveillance, including using infrared scopes during night operations.
  • Perform checks on farms, buildings, vehicles, and patrol international boundaries.
  • Utilize government assets such as vehicles, ATVs, and watercraft for patrolling.
