The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents (GL-5/7) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Agents will join a dedicated team focused on safeguarding the nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws, with immediate hiring opportunities available.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.
  • Conduct patrolling and surveillance operations using various government assets.
  • Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship status.
  • Perform checks on farms, buildings, and vehicles as required.

Required skills
