Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is looking for entry-level Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) to join their team dedicated to protecting America's borders. This role offers immediate full-time positions in federal law enforcement and requires the ability to make a difference in public safety. Candidates will receive training and can qualify for substantial incentives and benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and interrogate individuals suspected of immigration and customs law violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented individuals and smugglers near the borders.
  • Maintain surveillance and patrol international boundaries using various government assets.
  • Perform inspections and checks in various locations to enforce law adherence.

Required skills

  • Experience in public safety, security, military police, or law enforcement
  • Ability to make sound decisions and maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Skills in gathering information through questioning and observation
  • Education in criminal justice or related fields preferred for higher grade levels
