The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents (BPA) at the GL-5/7 grade levels in Montana City, Montana. This role is ideal for individuals looking for a long-term career in federal law enforcement, dedicated to protecting the nation's borders and ensuring public safety. The position offers excellent base pay, exceptional benefits, and substantial recruitment and retention incentives totaling up to $60,000.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented individuals and smugglers near borders.
  • Conduct various checks including farm, building, traffic, and city patrols.
  • Patrol the international boundary and coastal waterways using various government assets.
  • Maintain surveillance and interpret evidence of illegal entries.
