Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents to join their full-time federal law enforcement team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves protecting America by safeguarding borders, preventing illegal activities, and ensuring public safety. Candidates with a background in public safety, security, or military experience are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Conduct inspections to determine citizenship and identify violations.
  • Apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders.
  • Maintain surveillance and utilize technology during patrols.
  • Participate in various checks and patrol assignments in designated areas.
