The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents (BPA) to protect the nation's borders and enforce customs and immigration laws. This full-time federal law enforcement career offers immediate hiring opportunities for individuals with backgrounds in public safety, security, or law enforcement. Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders.
  • Perform patrols using various government assets, including vehicles and vessels.
  • Conduct inspections of documents and belongings to determine citizenship.
  • Provide support in tracking illegal entries and contraband.
