The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) in Salt Lake City, Utah. This federal law enforcement role is aimed at individuals looking for a long-term career that impacts the safety and security of the country. Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders.
  • Maintain surveillance from covert positions and conduct operations using specialized equipment.
  • Perform checks on farms, buildings, and transportation to ensure compliance with laws.
  • Patrol international boundaries and waterways using various government assets.
