The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking entry-level Border Patrol Agents to join their mission of safeguarding the American people and enhancing national economic prosperity. This role offers full-time federal law enforcement career positions, with immediate hiring for dedicated individuals looking to make a difference.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations.
  • Prevent and apprehend undocumented individuals and smugglers.
  • Patrol international borders and coastal waterways using various government assets.
  • Maintain surveillance and utilize specialized equipment for enforcement operations.
  • Conduct various checks including farm, building, and traffic inspections.

Required skills

  • Experience in public safety, security, or law enforcement.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and maintain composure under stress.
  • Strong observational and questioning skills.
  • Knowledge of firearms and effective decision-making in law enforcement scenarios.
  • Proficiency in English; ability to speak and read Spanish is essential.
