Overview

Austin Auto Body, a division of H&K Group, Inc., is seeking a 1st Shift Body Shop Technician in Skippack, PA. The technician will focus on the collision repair of vehicles, utilizing problem-solving skills and strong customer service abilities in a dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform collision repair on automotive vehicles
  • Examine damaged vehicles and estimate cost of repairs
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, and trim to access vehicle body
  • Repair dents using dolly blocks and body fillers
  • Remove and replace damaged fenders, panels, and grills
  • Straighten bent automobile frames using pneumatic frame straightening machine
  • Refinish repaired surfaces and aim headlights
  • Paint vehicle surfaces after repairs
  • Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
  • Follow OSHA and safety policies

Required skills
