State Farm is seeking a Bodily Injury Attorney for their Fort Lauderdale office to provide high-quality legal services related to insurance defense. The role involves case ownership, participation in litigation events, and collaborating with a supportive team in a hybrid work environment. The firm values strategic thinking and creativity in addressing legal challenges.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle litigation and legal assignments as per Law Department guidelines
  • Prepare and summarize reports for legal proceedings
  • Develop trial strategies and case developments
  • Attend litigation events including trials, mediations, depositions, and hearings

Required skills

  • 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense for bodily injury
  • First-Chair Trial experience preferred
  • Knowledge of local and state discovery rules and trial procedures
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with technology and software in case management
  • Ability to work efficiently with electronic case files
  • J.D. from an A.B.A. Accredited Law School
  • Active law license in Florida
