Overview

The Blount Substance Use Treatment Meal Prepper is a vital role within a multi-disciplinary team at an adult residential substance use treatment facility. This position entails preparing nutritious meals for clients throughout the week and ensuring the kitchen maintains public and state sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients Monday to Friday.
  • Assist with meal preparation on weekends as needed.
  • Follow a rotating four-week menu plan to ensure varied and nutritious meals.
  • Communicate kitchen, food supply, and equipment needs to the supervisor.
  • Maintain sanitary kitchen conditions, including regular cleaning and organization.
  • Ensure food storage and handling comply with health codes.
  • Stay up to date with required training, including First Aid and CPR.
