Overview

The Blount Substance Use Treatment MA Program Coordinator at the Helen Ross McNabb Center will provide administrative and programmatic oversight within an adult residential substance use treatment facility. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality client care, and supervising a team of health practitioners to meet the clinical needs of individuals with substance use disorders.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and programmatic oversight for residential services
  • Ensure compliance with contract reporting and McNabb Center policies
  • Complete daily documentation in accordance with policy and funding guidelines
  • Direct supervision of team leaders, clinicians, and residential counselors
  • Assign and manage daily schedules for program staff
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for administrative emergencies
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness and quality outcomes
  • Facilitate community outreach activities to promote program visibility
  • Develop and implement professional development plans for staff

Required skills

  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience in social work or addictions field
  • Knowledge of substance use and mental health recovery
  • Experience with co-occurring disorders treatment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
