Overview

Groupe GÉOS is seeking an experienced project manager in environment, specifically a Biologist, to support large-scale environmental projects across several regions in Quebec. The role involves collaborating with municipalities and companies to ensure ecological characterization while upholding the company's commitment to high-quality services and a supportive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate environmental project mandates
  • Manage client contacts and project teams, including subcontractors
  • Conduct field surveys related to herpetofauna, ichthyofauna, flora, and wetlands
  • Compile and analyze ecological data
  • Write reports and service proposals
  • Handle various tasks requiring judgement and rigor

Required skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in environmental field
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and authorization processes
  • Experience with species and habitat management, including botany
  • Ability to manage large-scale projects
  • Excellent French communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
