We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Site Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for families seeking support. In this role, you will create a welcoming environment, connect families with resources, coordinate on-site services, supervise and support volunteers, and help ensure daily operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, trauma-informed, and passionate about strengthening families and helping the community thrive. Qualifications & Competencies Qualifications Associate degree preferred or currently enrolled in higher education classes in human services fieldTwo years of experience providing human services or customer serviceBilingual English/Spanish proficiency requiredValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredAvailability to work a flexible 40-hour workweek. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. A flexible schedule is required and may include up to 1-2 evenings per week and one weekend day per month to support operations, family engagement activities, and program events. Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care principles/practices; awareness and understanding of differences between crisis/emergency care, transformation/development theories and practices, and family strengthening approachesAbility to join with and implement a strengths-based approach to children and familiesCase management skills and ability to define, collaborate on, and facilitate attainment of stated goalsUnderstanding of and compliance with confidentiality related to information and documentsStrong computer skills including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management systemsKnowledge of Colorado Springs and other state and regional community resources Communication & Relationship Building Empathetic and compassionate approach, with excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, listening, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain positive work relationshipsSensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic background of the children and families being served, with the ability to establish, foster, and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of clients Professional EffectivenessSelf-directed work style, with the ability to work collaboratively as a flexible and adaptable team memberAbility and willingness to work within the established structure of the Family Services DepartmentEnthusiasm for and commitment to the principle of helping others to help themselvesDemonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow directions and interpret policies and procedures to ensure compliance, ability to prioritize projects and follow through Requirements: Essential DutiesProvide friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service to families, community members, and collaborating organizationsResponsible for answering and promptly returning all calls in a professional and timely mannerTriage clients based on
