Overview

As a Bilingual Auto Inside Sales Representative at GEICO, you will be responsible for providing insurance quotes, advising customers on coverage options, converting quotes into new policies, and showcasing the value of being a GEICO policyholder. The role emphasizes customer interaction without the need for cold calling, and offers opportunities for significant earning potential through performance incentives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and engage potential customers for a positive sales experience
  • Identify potential customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Stay informed about GEICO products and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Convert insurance quotes into new policies

Required skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Customer-facing sales experience (minimum of 1 month required; 3+ years preferred)
  • Experience in high-volume call centers with measurable goals preferred
  • Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and multitask

  • Base salary of $23.00 per hour / $46,345 annually plus 10% bilingual differential
