If you're ready to join a firm where your contributions truly matter, we encourage you to apply and become part of our journey to excellence.Compensation:$41,600 - $62,400 yearlyResponsibilities: Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information to support their cases.Manage case files and maintain organized records, ensuring all documentation is easily accessible and up-to-date.Coordinate with medical providers and other professionals to gather essential evidence and documentation.Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and legal briefs.Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide valuable insights to the legal team.Translate and interpret legal documents and communications for Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clarity and understanding for all parties involved. Qualifications:Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written (required).2+ years of experience at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm as a paralegal, case manager, or pre-litigation case manager.Hands-on experience with auto accident cases, including requesting and reviewing medical records and bills, tracking treatment, and communicating with providers.Familiarity with the pre-litigation process: liability investigation, insurance claims, PIP/MedPay, lien resolution, etc.Comfortable managing a caseload of 60-100+ active files and prioritizing under deadlines.Experience with a legal case management system (Neos, Filevine, Litify, or similar).Strong written communication - able to draft clear client correspondence and provider requests in both languages.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive about keeping clients informed.About CompanyMatos Personal Injury Lawyers is a bilingual PI firm in Lakewood, CO, founded by attorney Lisandra Matos.
