Job Description

Overview

The Bilingual Member Service Representative at GreenState Credit Union is responsible for providing high-quality, responsive service to members and staff during daily transactions and inquiries. This front-line role is critical in fostering member relationships and enhancing the credit union's member-focused culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide professional member service to internal and external members
  • Respond to member inquiries and provide information on products and services
  • Perform transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
  • Make outbound service calls to members
  • Ensure confidentiality of member information
  • Educate members on the features and benefits of credit union products
  • Maintain accurate records and reconcile cash transactions
  • Participate in opening and closing procedures and secure confidential information
  • Assist in community service efforts and Credit Union sponsored events

Required skills

  • Bilingual communication skills (Spanish preferred)
  • Customer service experience
  • Cash handling and sales experience
  • Knowledge of financial products and regulations
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions
  • Interpersonal skills to engage with members effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
