Overview

Molina Healthcare is seeking a Bilingual Growth & Community Engagement Specialist fluent in Bengali, Hindi, or Urdu to join its Community Engagement team in Astoria, New York. This role focuses on enhancing Molina's membership and community health through outreach and building relationships with local partners, particularly in Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and execute enrollment events to achieve membership growth targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations (CBOs) and providers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to improve overall choice rates and Medicaid assignment percentages.
  • Deliver presentations and distribute educational materials to current and potential members.
  • Identify and promote Molina's programs within the community.
  • Develop and maintain SMART goals and contribute to departmental priorities.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or community engagement.
  • Exceptional networking and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Fluency in a second language is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of healthcare markets, particularly Medicaid.
