Overview

Molina Healthcare is seeking a Bilingual Growth & Community Engagement Specialist for the Queens/Brooklyn area to expand their community outreach efforts. The role focuses on collaborating with community partners to enhance membership growth and improve health outcomes, requiring significant fieldwork and engagement with various organizations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage events and community relationships in Brooklyn and surrounding counties.
  • Achieve established goals for enrollment growth in Medicaid programs.
  • Coordinate and participate in enrollment events, encouraging partners' participation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and providers.
  • Assist potential members with health access related questions.
  • Identify key sponsorship opportunities for community outreach.
  • Manage daily schedule and align activities with department goals.

Required skills

  • Bilingual in Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, and/or Arabic (highly desired)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Marketing)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or community engagement
  • Exceptional networking and negotiation skills
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in outreach to low-income populations and community marketing
