Overview

Molina Healthcare is seeking a Bilingual Growth & Community Engagement Specialist fluent in Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic to join their Community Engagement team in New York. The role focuses on managing events and building relationships within the community to enhance Molina's membership and improve health outcomes, predominantly in Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate enrollment events to increase Medicaid membership
  • Build and deepen relationships with community-based organizations and key business leaders
  • Achieve established enrollment growth objectives and improve overall choice rates
  • Deliver presentations and distribute educational materials to potential members
  • Assist incoming calls related to health access and provide support to members
  • Identify partnership opportunities and promote Molina's programs in the community
  • Develop and manage a daily schedule aligned with department goals

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or community engagement
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Exceptional networking and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Fluency in a second language highly desirable
  • Experience with outreach serving low-income populations
