Job Description

Overview

As a Bilingual Early Intervention Specialist at Sevita, you will provide in-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities. The role involves planning and delivering specialized educational services, conducting assessments, and supporting families in their child's development, all while being part of a mission-driven team dedicated to helping families reach their fullest potential.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide in-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers
  • Plan and schedule weekly educational services for children with disabilities
  • Administer and document program assessments and updates accurately
  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities for individual children
  • Model effective adult-child interactions and coach parents
  • Monitor and document children's progress and share with families
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality support

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Intervention, Early Childhood, Special Education, Child Development or Child Stud
  • Experience with children under 5
  • Fluency in Haitian Creole
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills
  • Compassionate approach with a commitment to quality
