Job Description

Overview

Sevita is seeking a Bilingual Early Intervention Specialist to provide in-home specialized services for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities. This role is centered on supporting children to reach their fullest potential through a collaborative, team-based approach, and requires effective communication and interaction with families.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infants/toddlers with disabilities.
  • Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately.
  • Design, implement, and adapt activities for various areas of development including cognitive, language, and social/emotional.
  • Model effective adult-child interactions and provide coaching to parents.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate the child's progress with families and the team.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Intervention, Early Childhood, Special Education, Child Development, or Child Stu
  • Experience with children under 5.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and a compassionate approach.
