Job Description

Overview

Heard & Smith, LLP is seeking a Bilingual Client Service Specialist fluent in Spanish and English to provide support for clients throughout the claims process. This role involves maintaining client relationships in a fast-paced call center environment, contributing to the firm's mission of offering compassionate assistance to those in need.

Key responsibilities

  • Take approximately 50-75 calls per day in a professional call center environment
  • Build client relationships and maintain confidence in the firm
  • Focus on retention of clients while providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain a 90% or above quality score on calls
  • Retain and recall SSA and company policies and processes
  • Solve problems and maintain confidentiality
  • Keep updated records and detailed documentation in a paperless database system
  • Address client concerns and complaints effectively
  • Utilize good judgment to escalate urgent issues to management

Required skills

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
  • High School Diploma; Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Call center experience
  • Minimum 40 WPM typing speed
  • Knowledge in computer technology and the Internet (MS Office Outlook)
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent telephone, communication, and active listening skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Social Security Disability Law or medical background preferred
