Overview

ABS Kids is seeking a Bilingual Behavior Technician to work with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families in Riverside, California. This role offers the opportunity for premium pay for bilingual-required sessions and emphasizes the importance of helping children learn essential life skills while following a specific treatment plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach children essential life skills through play
  • Observe, play, and collect data to write progress notes
  • Help shape challenging behaviors into communication skills
  • Follow treatment plans specific to each child
  • Work towards goals that promote skill development

Required skills

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ability to obtain after hire
  • Paid prior experience with children (e.g., camp counselor, daycare, nanny)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Dependable and creative with lots of energy
  • Ability to move quickly and get up and down from the floor
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with data collection software and Microsoft Office 365
  • Desire to learn and provide quality care
