Job Description

Overview

As the BGC Lead I at Marimn Health, you will play a vital role in leading and managing programs for youth at the Boys & Girls Club in Plummer, Idaho. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing activities, ensuring positive experiences for youth, and coordinating with staff and volunteers to promote community engagement and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and implement events and activities year-round.
  • Develop and oversee daily programming for after school and youth camps.
  • Coordinate use of gym facilities and plan special events.
  • Ensure adherence to Boys & Girls Club programming and policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all members.
  • Assist with community awareness and marketing of programs.
  • Chaperone Boys & Girls Club events and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, members, and outside organizations.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with data collection and reporting.

Required skills

  • Experience working with youth in recreation or education fields
  • Progressive training in relevant areas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of current trends in youth program management
  • Certifications in Food Handling, First Aid/CPR, and Lifeguarding within six months of hire
