Overview

Marimn Health is seeking a BGC Lead I to work in Plummer, Idaho, overseeing youth programs and activities at the Boys & Girls Club. This role involves planning, organizing, and implementing various events while ensuring a safe and engaging environment for participants.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and implement daily activities for youth programs and events.
  • Coordinate use of facilities and manage scheduling with other events.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all Club members.
  • Develop curriculum-focused activities targeting health, education, and leadership.
  • Manage safety protocols and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with staff and community organizations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training for certifications.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED, A.A. degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in youth recreation or education
  • Program leadership and staff coordination experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and website maintenance
  • First Aid and CPR certification (must obtain within first six months)
  • Food Handlers Certification (must obtain within first six months)
  • Lifeguard certification (must obtain within first six months)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
