This Benefits Specialist will serve as a key resource for employees and leadership, ensuring accurate benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and exceptional employee support. The Benefits Specialist will work closely with HR and payroll teams to manage benefits enrollment, employee changes, and ongoing administration. Why This Benefits Specialist Opportunity Stands Out Full-time Benefits Specialist role with a stable South Bend-area employer Hands-on ownership of benefits administration and employee support Close collaboration with HR, payroll, and leadership teams Long-term role with growth potential for a strong Benefits Specialist Supportive, team-oriented work environment Key Responsibilities of the Benefits Specialist Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans Manage new hire enrollments, life event changes, and annual open enrollment processes Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and support Coordinate with benefit vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators Ensure benefits data accuracy within HRIS and payroll systems Support compliance with federal and state benefits regulations (ACA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.) Assist with benefits audits, reporting, and reconciliation Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate deductions and contributions Qualifications for the Benefits Specialist Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred 2-5+ years of benefits administration or HR experience preferred Working knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations Experience with HRIS and payroll systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Professional, confidential, and employee-focused approach Compensation $55,000 - $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualificationsClick here to apply online
