Overview

BEYOND IT SUPPORT LLC is seeking a skilled Bench Technician with 3-5 years of experience to diagnose, repair, and refurbish IT equipment for local businesses. The role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently handle multiple repair tasks and collaborate with a small team to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and refurbish IT equipment including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking hardware
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues quickly to minimize client downtime
  • Assemble and prepare equipment for deployment or return to clients
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and test results
  • Manage and organize repair workspace and inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Collaborate with help desk and field technicians to support client needs
  • Assist in configuring and testing equipment before delivery
  • Manage incoming deliveries and inventory
  • Enter all time and expenses in ConnectWise
  • Complete assigned training on ConnectWise University

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Bench Technician or similar
  • A Plus Certification
  • Hardware troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong diagnosis skills
  • Ability to handle multiple repair jobs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced understanding of operating systems and network systems
  • Familiarity with MSP workflows and ticketing systems
  • Reliable transportation for travel to client locations
