Job Description

Overview

UCHealth is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Therapist to provide assessment, triage, and treatment to patients and their families in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The role involves working as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician, conducting both individual and group therapy, and assisting with case management and discharge planning.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement counseling and therapy for patients in individual and group settings
  • Conduct interviews and assessments for patients and their families
  • Determine and arrange needed services and interventions
  • Participate in case reviews and care conferences
  • Assist with discharge planning and identify community resources
  • Ensure patient and family educational needs are met
  • Train new staff, students, and interns as assigned

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • State licensure as LCSW, LPC, MFT, or ACD
  • 2 years' relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management
